Pre-Employment Checklist
Complete these tasks before your IT onboarding:
- Prepare to receive FedEx packages.
- A tracking link will be sent to your personal email. Plan to receive packages before onboarding.
- Packages require an adult (21+) with a government ID to sign for delivery.
- Review Pre-Employment Training articles in the portal to prepare:
- Key topics include:
- Be ready to connect all devices to your Wi-Fi during onboarding. Have your Wi-Fi password handy to avoid delays.
- Unpack and fully charge all company devices before the session. Report any damage to your HR contact.
- Join the IT onboarding via Microsoft Teams.
- The Teams link will be emailed to your personal account a few days before the session. Watch for it.
- You’ll need a personal internet-enabled device for the first few minutes to sign into company devices.

| What is my MacBook password & iPhone passcode? | It will be given during onboarding. Do not try to sign in beforehand to avoid locking the device. |
| How do I hold packages at FedEx? | Call FedEx at 1 (800) 463-3339 with your tracking number to request a hold. You must pick up the package yourself. |
| What devices will I receive? | All new hires get a MacBook and mouse by default. iPhone is provided only if approved by your manager. Other peripherals are discussed after onboarding. |
